So, if you are reading this, I am dead.
No, wait, wrong message. If you are reading this, then you are interested in my bike trip, and for that I thank you. I am going to be doing a self-sustained bicycle trip from Toronto to Toronto. I know, sounds tough. Here is the tricky part. I have to make detours to Ottawa, Montreal, Halifax, Maine, the Adirondacks, and Hamilton first. So, all in all about 4100 kms, with no cars or airplanes involved. There may be one boat, not sure yet. I am riding a Trek 520 touring bike with all my gear strapped to the rear racks, including a tent and sleeping bag. If you happen to live along my planned path and want to give me a place to crash or shower for the night, I would be most appreciative, otherwise I will be camping most nights. I have been training for the last 4 months and am feeling incredibly excited for this whole undertaking. If nothing else, at least I should come back with some interesting stories. I will be updating this blog with photos and postings as often as possible, but I dont know how often I will actually have access to a computer. If anyone cares to join me for any portion of the trip, I'll be doing about 100 km a day, give or take. Thanks to everyone for their support, and I'll see you on the road!

Hey Gibby! You might have someone to crash with in Kingston, but if not you are welcome to stop by the apartment that Alan and I have. We have a full sized couch! Also, a shower. Just let us know :) (We don't need much notice either, a few hours will suffice :P)
Good luck man!

Oh we do have a cat too, as a heads up in case you're allergic.
